A prestigious European brand is looking for a proactive accountant to join its finance team at the company's new office in the centre of Tokyo.
This position will work in a finance team of four people, and will mainly be responsible for the AR accounting process. As the finance team is small, there will be opportunities to get experience will several different accounting functions, and this position will have input into the budget planning process.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who would like to work in a small, cooperative, and friendly finance team at a company with a strong European company culture.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of AR accounting function
- Contributing to monthly, quarterly, and annual closing
- Supporting colleagues with their work as required
- Contributing to budget planning process from AR perspective
Requirements:
- Native-level Japanese, business-level English (reading)
- Retail company experience preferred
- Cooperative attitude, willing to help colleagues with their work as required
- Experience using Microsoft Excel
- Experience using SAP is a plus
