A world leader in Transportation is looking for their Business Development head. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong sales leader / professional with a regional network in identified, negotiating, and closing supply chain solutions opportunities. In addition, the role will lead a team of business development experts who will focus on organic growth supporting our existing sales teams.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prospecting and lead generation within assigned group of target 3PL and contract logistics customers through proactive networking and leveraging existing relationships enterprise.
Developing the sales strategy for the deployment of the Company’s 3PL and contract logistics services to customer opportunities within an industry vertical.
Leading the business development process for supply chain solutions including purchase order management, supplier management, and transportation management, destination logistics, value added services, etc.
Directly lead the 3PM and contract logistics sales effort for the Company, including evaluation of account interest, presentation of services, development of the proposal for services and final presentation.
