An exciting role as a Delivery Planning Business Analysis supervisor at a leading Danish furniture company is open!
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure products are delivered to clients on time
- Ensure sufficient delivery capacity both short- and long-time and drive cost savings year by year
- Improve customers satisfaction and number of repurchase customers through reduction in claim rate
- Picking/delivery note/invoicing in ERP system for own stores and franchisees
- Lead or participate in cross department projects (e.g., cost reduction, process improvement)
- Manage 3PL delivery partners
- Search and suggest new 3PL delivery partners especially in new areas
- Collect, analyze and forecast delivery plan data, cost and capacity + Action Plan for Improvement
- Negotiation with vendors for ad-hoc capacity increases.
Required Skills Checklist
- 3 years’ experience of delivery arrangement and planning management (Delivery capacity analysis and forecast)
- Project management
- People management
- Dealing with retail customers
- Experience of delivery system introduction
- Experience using an ERP system (MS Axapta preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially MS Excel -VLOOKUP, pivot master)
- Well structured, good problem-solving skills with attention to details
Skills Desired
- Experience in foreign owned company
- Experience in the furniture industry
- +2 years’ experience of data analysis and/or demand planning
- +3 years’ experience of people management
- Preferable Business English capability
