Our client is a leading European FMCG leader searching for a head of digital marketing to help build the local market and coordinate with global. For this role, you'll be strong in social media, especially Instagram, have passion for the consumer, and lead the digital frontier for this 250 person organization in Japan in both creating a consumer experience and boosting off-line marketing. 

 

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute the digital strategy 

Build up a trustful liaison with multi-functional team members, lead the development, implementation and analysis of all digital marketing activities and content strategy across the global/local digital ecosystem, incl. Social Media, eEducation, Influencer Marketing, Brand Page, Mobile Apps, to engage with professionals and consumers and driving each segment to their priority close

Own and evolve Social Media Calendar and lead its content creation by guiding brand marketing team

Oversee paid media strategy and planning for its further ROI

Cultivate and create a strong network between global and local team of digital expert to ensure that the global strategy is executed with excellence across all markets. Bring in new technology and way of digital working to local practice and stakeholders

Develop and deploy monthly data reporting of core KPIs to all markets and stakeholders

Responsible for own budget management while optimizing its spending on priority and maximize its ROI

 

The ideal candidate:

 

  • 5+ years previous experience leading digital strategy for a global brand

  • Creativity and innovation management, with high curiosity: always up to date on the latest

    platforms, tools, and trends in Digital

  • Data driven and focused on excellent execution, with business acumen

  • Proactive, hands-on attitude, while striking a balance between macro and micro view feels comfortable working under pressure and in a complex organization

  • Learning on the fly and dealing with ambiguity

  • Project and process management

  • FMCG experience a plus

  • Business English proficiency
