Overall objective/Purpose of the position

• To drive and ensure high-level logistics operation to fulfill consumer needs and experience through effective and efficient logistics infrastructure, systems, and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop logistics team to enhance team effectiveness

➢ Knowledge sharing, developing new ways of working, development of each staff to ensure capability requirements

• Work with sales department and marketing department to determine manufacturing order units by SKU and placing orders to Headquarter

• Warehouse & distribution

➢ Develop a good relationship with outside import agency and manage import operation in a timely manner

➢ Distribution / Freight Management

 Take lead of total supply chain management through collaboration with internal departments

 Negotiation with service providers. Develop, monitor and review regularly the agreed operational and KPI performance

➢ Transportation – Major emphasis is to be placed on all forms of transportation

 Demurrage, cartage, offsite storage, interstate transfers, courier charges, home delivery costs are all to be continuously reviewed to drive ongoing efficiency and improvements and ensuring a consistent reduction in cost per appliance is achieved

➢ Manage pre-delivery operations inefficient way

➢ Manage and monitor all inventories (mainly stored at outside warehousing company), including B class and other rent-out inventories

➢ Other logistics operations such as disposal of inventories, recycling operations, and others

• Process Improvements/ New Ways of Working

➢ To refine and standardize across the stat

es all operating procedures, ensuring the most efficient outcome for the company and the best service for our customers.

➢ Lead and implement change projects for new logistics operations  Lead and responsible for implementation in Japan

 Act as a single point of contact for the global/ regional project team and closely collaborate in constructive way

• Communication

➢ Clear and measurable KPI’s / objectives are to be driven across the team but also filtered at an individual level

➢ Provide regular feedback on progress/issues across the business

➢ Communicate to the business timely and accurate information

Competencies/Skills for the position

Education:

Bachelor or above 大卒以上

Work experience: 5+ years of logistics experience in Japan subsidiary of a global company

Strong track record(s) as a leader in logistics project(s)

2+ years of people management as a line manager

Skills & Competencies:

• Business fluent English in written and verbal (TOEIC 730+)
