Job description

Your role is:

To ensure good strategies in pricing/tariffs for national Business Unit Airfreight are in place, to allow unified, competitive

and profitable rate proposals are provided in all sales channels (RFQs, local sales, on-line channels, etc.)

To provide timely pricing guidance to all departments in the region per latest regional strategy and market development

To work collaboratively with other regional teams and global teams to on the large RFQs and ensure proper pricing and

solutions are presented for the region.

To work with other regional Business Unit Airfreight members to formulate solutions that allow business growth per

regional strategy.

Your tasks and responsibilities

 To closely align with key stakeholders in national / cluster Business Unit Airfreight in defining and adjusting pricing

strategies per market development

 To work with cluster Business Unit Airfreight in reviewing current operational cost bases, adjusting tariff structures,

tariff levels, to ensure a unified approach for the region

 To be responsible for developing and leading the change for pricing related practice improvements

 To engage with overseas counterparts in discussions for business development and pricing / solution proposals, in

coordination with clusters and representing the region

 To provide guidance to air export departments in nation per latest strategy and market development

 To join customer meetings to support business development as needed

 To work with other regional colleagues in developing / pricing industry solutions as needed

 To support line manager in the pricing related discussions with customers / network partners

 To act as subject matter expert and lead / work on assigned projects which improves company cost base and/or

competitiveness in offering.

Your skills and experience

 University graduate. Master degree or Tertiary certification in Forwarding, Business Administration or Supply Chain


 3 years of leadership/management experience preferred

 Minimum 5 years of working Air Logistics experience, within the Freight Forwarding/Transportation industry

 High knowledge of freight forwarding, operations and import-export regulations

 Good knowledge of the market and Carriers' relationship

 Ability to read, write and converse in Japanese and English fluently

 Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills

 Strong team player and is self-motivated
