Our client, already a global player in procurement program management is setting up operations in Japan. With several global clients already on-board, this position needs someone with strong experience that can hit the ground running. You'll be working independently, growing a team locally, and communicating and partnering globally.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage & develop the company regional programs
  • Ensure that operational processes and program meets agreed upon customer expectations
  • Ensure quantitative and qualitative results to be achieved and delivered to clients
  • Work closely with client and operations team to ensure successful delivery of Procurement Services programs and day-to-day oversight
  • Detect process improvements and implement them for success of the program
  • Initiate and continuously building complex internal and external stakeholder relationships at all levels of leadership
  • Work with global delivery team in terms of reporting, client challenges and profitability of program
  • Meet targets as per SLA & KPIs, adherence to process compliance
  • Expand program offering and enhancing the quality of existing program

Required Skills / Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Program Manager or other managerial position. Minimum 5 years of procurement or finance related experience
  • University education in Business, Supply Chain management or Finance strongly desired
  • Proven outstanding leadership and organizational skills
  • 2 years’ experience acting as a team lead or people manager
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving ability
  • Fluent in English & Japanese
  • Proven knowledge of ERP and E-proc tools
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, analytics tools, project management methodologies and presentation development methodology
