Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

•Develop, monitor, and fulfill shipment volume targets on a regional basis in cooperation with the global, regional and local sales teams as well as key account managers

 

•Develop field sales action plans to facilitate regional sales programs and increase market penetration within the region

 

•Manage a pricing team in order to meet or exceed corporate-set goals

 

•Identify business opportunities and generate profitable sales in both new and existing accounts to meet and exceed new business revenue goals.

 

•Process and coordinate regional customer RFQ’s in close collaboration with the “Head of Tank Container APAC” and “Head of Global Sales & Tender Management Tank Container”

 

•Manage and develop the key account customers within the region

 

•Ensure a structured regional observation (e.g. clients, trends, competition monitoring)

 

•Develop the emerging markets within the region

 

•Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly 

 

•Drive process excellence in sales 

 

•Direct report to the “Head of Tank Container APAC” and the “Head of Global Sales & Tender Management Tank Container”

 


Qualification:

•Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales in the international logistics industry –   
background in the Tank Container industry in APAC is preferred 

 

•Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or related field is a plus

 

•Very strong negotiation and presentation skills 

 

•High achieving, ambitious and result-oriented

 

•Must exemplify professionalism and leadership qualities with strong organizational and time management skills

 

•Strong written and verbal communication skills in the English language 

 

•Open-mindedness for cross-cultural teamwork

 

•Flexibility regarding working hours, willingness to travel internationally 

 

•Good process management skills (process automation, digitization)
