Overview

Our client is a retail company that is looking to hire a C&B analyst to support the total rewards team.

General Profile:

• Requires in-depth knowledge and experience in Compensation & Benefits and Total Rewards

• Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business and customer issues to improve compensation & benefit programs and plans

• Delivers compensation and human resource solutions for complex problems by taking a new perspective; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information

• Works independently, receives minimal guidance

• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience

Responsibilities:

• Participate in annual C&B surveys, monitor market trends in compensation & Benefits, conduct pay analysis and recommend strategies to ensure the company remains competitive.

• Develop offers proposals and pay recommendations for complicated cases in line with procedures and guidelines. This includes mobility options and analysis.

• Counsel people managers and business partners on individual compensation treatment for complicated cases.

• Manage Japan Pension plan, including monthly contribution administration, annual Pension Committee meeting logistics, coordination with vendor on continuous refresher education and daily support to employee inquiries.

• Lead annual insurance renewal process for Japan and Korea markets.

• Manage C&B vendors for Japan markets, including mobility service vendor, stress check service vendor, income tax vendor, pension administrator and other vendors who provide C&B related service to the company.

• Manages Year End Process as critical member of project team. Internal expert on the process and aligns while ensuring leaders are prepared for performance reviews, bonus payouts, communications, and total compensation statements.

• Liaises with corporate Executive and Equity compensation team on matters for equity eligible employees, manage equity income statement submission to meet local tax requirements.

• Monitors the effectiveness of benefits programs and recommends enhancements / update rewards related policies.

• Other regional projects related to rewards. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (3-5 years rewards, finance, or HR).

• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.

• Strong customer service and client focus with outstanding judgment.

• Expert skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Analytical and critical thinking ability is a must.

• Fluent in English and Japanese is required.
