Purpose:
• Manage the supply chain and implement with its immediate objectives of product sourcing plan, while controlling inventory, SCL management, product lead times and all communication with other company affiliates.
Responsibilities:
• Verify that all supply chain activities that comply with corporate objectives and develop improvement plan
• Maintain appropriate inventory management of the entire order cycle
• Monitor and constantly optimize supplier’s delivery schedule and products availability
• Participate in global supply chain projects as a primary contract
• Propel cost-saving initiative of logistics operation
• Coaching and development of operations team staff in terms of supply and delivery
• Develop and implement new product launch in conjunction with stakeholders
• Adhere to respective KPI
• To be responsible for negotiating the contract and monitoring the cost related to re-work and re-pack activities
• Initiate each project in progress and partner management with stakeholders
• Manage and educate team staff
• Close control of the ops cost P&L and active actions to monthly get committed with the AOP
Qualifications:
• At least 5 years of experience in Purchase Inventory Control
• Fluent English and Japanese
• Experience of working with supply chain in a group context
• Leadership and team-building skillset
• Experience in managing projects including planning, tracking, and budget development
• Ability to budget management
• Can-do attitude
• Problem solving ability
