  • Respond to RFI/RFQ/RFP requirements by providing in-depth analysis on customer’s volume, make reasonable assumptions to create warehouse solutions for new and existing customer's tender scope of work.
  • Warehouse process modeling to derive on warehouse resource requirements (manpower, equipment, MHE), storage type (racking, shelving, automation), capital expenditure (CAPEX) items, and operating expenses (OPEX).
  • Design warehouse layout using CAD tools or CLASS software, including storage type design.
  • Liaise with Regional IT team to obtain WMS and EDI costing as per tender requirement.
  • Liaise with the Regional Procurement team to obtain cost information as required.
  • Liaise with Area HR team to prepare for manpower cost according to each job level’s requirement.
  • Develop warehouse costing and pricing according to customer’s template and conduct the operational and financial review with internal stakeholders to obtain approval before proposal submission.
  • Prepare presentation materials to illustrate the proposed solutions to the customer’s tender requirements.
  • Review proposal and pricing to meet customer’s target rate during negotiation phases.
  • Hand over final solution proposal and tender details to Implementation Team and/or Execution Team for project implementation.
  • Assist in the implementation phase to check on actual operations with the finalized tender condition, make adjustments to pricing or scope of work as required.
  • Support process improvement analysis during CI project on warehouse processes.
  • Ad-hoc duties assigned by Manager.

Weare looking for:

  • Minimum 3-5 years (s) of warehouse solution design experience and handling RFQ/RFP response in a reputable logistics company.
  • Fluent in English and Japan/Korea languages (depend on applicant’s location) to communicate with various stakeholders (customers, overseas colleagues, suppliers) in view of business requirements.
  • An in-depth understanding of warehousing and local distribution operational is required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision for RFI/RFQ/RFP processes.
  • Resourceful, result-oriented, optimistic, and able to thrive under pressure to meet tender deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and negotiation skills
  • Must be meticulous, having an advanced organizational skill, and a team player
  • Strong desire for success with a never-say-die attitude to handle all assigned tasks.
  • Advanced level in MS Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc) and knowledge of WMS, TMS, EDI, PowerBI, and CRM operating systems.
  • Must have experience with warehouse design layout using either CAD or CLASS or other similar applications.
  • A basic understanding of contractual terms is an added advantage.
  • Willing to travel within Japan and Korea upon business requests.
