Job Description

This role is responsible for:
  • Creating, developing and executing brand marketing plans including new initiatives, media plans, PR, and promotions
  • Leading local initiatives delivery based on consumer understanding, while leveraging global initiatives, toolboxes and assets. Managing consumer research
  • Spearheading local product development closely working with external partners and internal functional leaders (forecasting, merchandising, pricing, registration, product life cycle management, etc)
  • Plan and manage in-store merchandising such as product layout, display and shelf design closely working with external partners and trade marketing team
  • Lead the development of digital and influencer plans and manage the effectiveness by tracking KPI
  • Provide monthly reports and competitor analysis of the market place
  • Analyze market trends and sales potential and provide input for monthly sales forecasting
  • Liaise with supply team with regard to daily operational issues and to ensure that launch time and stock allocations. Collaborate with the trade marketing team to ensure sales promotion effectiveness
  • Prepare investment plans and manage marketing budgets including advertising and promotional spend
Necessary Skills:
  • Native-level Japanese / Business-level English
  • Bachelors degree
  • 3+ years' brand marketing experience (FMCG / cosmetics / personal care experience is an advantage)
  • Ability to lead multi-functional teams
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing
  • Confident with use of MS Office (PowerPoint / Excel / Word)
  • Motivated and proactive
  • Thinks logically
