Job Description

This role is responsible for:
  • Leading market research and analysis
  • Managing current product line and new product launches, including:
    • Setting prices
    • Coordinating product development and design
    • Organising advertising campaigns
    • Monitoring sales performance to effectively market products/services
  • Monitor, analyse and evaluate market trends (both domestic and international), consumer behaviour, and competitor activity to identify market opportunities for the product/service
  • Review product performance and consumer feedback to generate new product ideas. Identifying product/service changes to meet consumer needs
  • Collaborate with other areas of the company (e.g. R&D, production) to implement changes
  • Preparing sales forecasts and budgets, monAitoring sales volume, revenues and costs against forecasts
  • Liaising with agencies (advertising / promotions / PR) to design campaigns and sales collateral that are effective and appropriate
  • Managing a focused product marketing team
Necessary skills
  • Native Japanese / at least business-level English
  • Bachelors degree
  • At least 3 years marketing experience (product marketing background strongly preferred)
  • Leadership skills
  • Logical 
  • Positive and a self-starter
  • Able to lead a project from start to finish
