Job Description
This role is responsible for:
- Overseeing daily operations of e-commerce business in Japan, specifically focused on owned content channel
- Collaborating with international and domestic teams, external agency partners, and other third parties to bring the company's digital vision to life
- Leading the coordination of a cross-functional team responsible for end-to-end execution of online stores including buyers, planners, brand coordinators, logistics, customer service, photographers, IT analysts, social media specialists and operations
- Being the main point-of-contact for third party partners (website hosting, distribution providers, etc), working to improve operations
- Developing unique strategies regarding how the products are displayed online, and merchandised to maximise sell through
- Carefully monitoring operations and performing QA activities
- Analysing a range of data to optimise website for maximum sell-through and improving sales
- Supporting the digital manager, and Japan Managing Director in completing various adhoc projects as needed
- Business-level Japanese and English
- Bachelors degree
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- At least 1 - 2 years experience with eCommerce in Japan (with an apparel brand is preferred)
- Self-starter that takes ownership in their work
- Excellent communication skills
- Logical thinker
