Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

He/She manages Asian Digital applications and various Front Office applications related to Omni Channel, and needs to provide resolutions for operational problems whilst adhering to corporate competencies based on relationship with business, Global Asia IS members and global headquarter teams. Also contributes insights into the strategic direction of the Digital/Client Services/Retail departments based on understanding of complex Omni Chanel processes.

To maintain Digital/Omni channel production environments and deliver application releases, he/she works with IS global headquarter team, China Digital member and third-party vendor India and Paris teams, also guarantees Worldwide/Global Asia roadmap of application portfolio.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Provide right information to our customers and users in the best way

- Provide timely support and maintain local and global applications

- Join Digital communities to follow up on a future Digital release/ project as IS key player

- Maintain production with India third-party vendor closely to tackle major daily incidents and root cause of problems. Incident monitoring and analysis problems are constantly put in place with third-party vendors

- Run regression tests and confirm new functionalities/bug-fix behaviors before production release

- Lead, plan, organize middle scale of projects/releases and/or contribute to large scale projects in alignment with project management methodology

- Adhere to company IS policies, procedures, and standards to achieve quality and compliance of solutions

- Seek business requirements to formalize fit & gap, scope and deliverables

- Propose business process improvement, earn and sustain trusting relationship with business teams

CHALLENGES:

Short term:

- Understand evolving business processes quickly

- Get to know global application architecture/integration

- Communicate effectively with Global Asia IS team, global headquarter IS teams, and different business stakeholders (in Japanese and English) with using the business language, and technical terms when interacting within IS teams

- Prioritize business requirements with business teams

Long term:

- Understand the strategy of global standard applications to deploy in Global Asia with leveraging and optimizing business processes efficiently

- Become a part of IS global talent, work effectively with headquarter business and IS members, drive projects as global project manager

- Become a Business Solutions manager to manage all of business applications for Global Asia

KEY STAKEHOLDERS:

- Digital, eCommerce and Call Center departments business users in Japan/China/Korea/Hong Kong/Australia/Singapore

- IS global headquarter in Paris

- Global Asia Business Solutions team in Japan, Hong Kong and China, and Technical team in Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore

- Third-party vendors in India and Paris

REQUIREMENTS:

Mandatory:

- Japanese & English: Business level

- 5-7 years working experience in IS department

- Strong understanding of Omni Channel

- Experience in E-Commerce specific role (preference to experience working with European based companies, Luxury sector is a plus)

- Ability to work under high pressure with tight deadlines, multi-tasks and time management skills

- Logical and positive thinker

- Energetic and proactive attitude for learning and problem solving

- Hospitable and Sociable to have communications with users and open-mind to get new technologies

Preferable:

- Strong understanding of Retail / CRM

- Digital marketing experience and keen interest

- Experience of call center applications

- Experience of such products as Oracle Retail/Order Broker, ATG, demandware and/or SAP Hybris

- Education or working experience in overseas, diversity environment

- Experience in project to deploy global standard applications as a project manager

- Bachelor’s Degree
