The company specialises in the manufacture and development of Medical Equipment and Technologies. For a Finance professional with an interest in the progression of Healthcare solutions, this Manager role could be a great opportunity.


  • Support the month end close process, working with CFO and Finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information.
  • Monitor cash flow metrics and ensure division meets cash flow objectives.
  • Take the lead role in the preparation of the monthly/quarterly Sales, OPEX and P&L forecast and annual operating plan activities and ensure division meets its set objectives.
  • Support the sales & marketing management team in the development of effective sales performance metrics and tools (account profiling and tracking, new product launch tracking, gross margin analysis, etc.).
  • Help design and automate scorecards, product trackers and key leading indicators
  • Help design, implement & maintain adequate tools supporting sales execution at different level of the selling and marketing functions
  • Support the strategic planning efforts, working with the Country Director and the Sales and Marketing team to develop a fully detailed Country Business Strategy to include stated objectives and action plans, inclusive of the market mapping, identifying potential gaps and exploiting new opportunities.
  • Support the development of market strategies aiming at maximising market share, promoting new product launches and building brand awareness and customer loyalty as well as healthcare economics, government affairs and reimbursement.
  • Support the ongoing identification of new market opportunities
  • Gather and maintain market research and competitive data to enable the strategic marketing plan.
  • Work closely with the sales management team to design effective field sales incentive schemes. Monitor field sales performance against plan and communicate commission payout to Payroll.
  • Ensure awareness and compliance with standard operating policies and assist the management team in the development of the annual needs assessment.
  • Ensure awareness and compliance with applicable standard operating procedures to meet, comply and champion all quality and regulatory commitments.
  • Prepare various ad hoc reports for the management team as requested.


  • University degree.
  • CPA or CFA preferred.
  • Fluency in English (oral and written) and Japanese.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience with multinational companies.
  • Team player, ability to foster strong relationships with international counterparts.
  • Strong Leader, ability to facilitate with both internal and external functions.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities and make decisions about relative priorities of projects.
  • Broad knowledge of business, scientific, economic, social and public policy trends affecting the medical device industry.
