Position Summary

This is an opportunity to join the Japan leadership team as HR Manager responsible for all our people in Japan. Responsible for the employment experience of all our Japan colleagues based across the Tokyo and Osaka offices, you’ll partner closely with the Country Manager as well as the finance team and all other functions to implement local and regional HR strategies and ensure the execution of mission critical processes such as payroll, talent acquisition, talent development and employee relations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Complete all required documentation for various HR related activities 

Conduct and coordinate new-hire orientation

Assist and support HR management in preparing for training sessions and meetings

Responsible for recruiting for open positions

Provide local administration for various company-wide programs such as service awards, performance management and compensation processes

Provides assistance and support to Regional HR Leader on special projects and programs

Provides communication on changes and updates on all HR programs, policies and benefits and compensation programs

•    University Diploma or equivalent experience in HR

•    3 - 5 years of directly related and progressively responsible experience in human resources, preferably in recruitment and staffing function

•    Strong verbal and written communication skills in in Japanese and English 

•    Strong interpersonal skills

•    Solid knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and regulations

•    Proven experience in payroll processing, data collection, entry and reporting with great attention to detail 

•    Computer savvy with strong working knowledge of relevant software e.g. Microsoft application, Workday etc
