Human Resource Manager (luxury retail sector)

Job description:

Assists CEO in Japan in management of various HR duties, HR tasks including: recruiting, reporting, employee relations, training activities, organization, performance evaluation management, administration as well as coordination of implementation of HR policies and strategy, working closely with other team members. Position reports to CEO in Japan directly. 

Responsibilities include:
- management of recruiting and staffing for back office and retail stores
- management and planning of training especially for retails store staffs
- management of performance evaluation and rewarding systems 
- assisting supervision and management of employee policies and employee relation issues
- assisting in monitoring and reporting to management and HQ
- supporting development of company culture emphasising quality, continuous improvement, teamwork and high performance
- assisting with payroll system alternative system
- coordination with headquarters

Skills and Experience Required
- working experience in retail sales industry with managing store staffs
- "open-minded", flexible and proactive mindset with strong teamwork and interpersonal skills 
- attention to details, able to multi-task and meet deadlines
- strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills
- good knowledge of Japanese labor laws and practices 
- Good English, experience in foreign owned company
