Job Description

Our client is a leading service company in Japan with operations in 300 offices worldwide. In Japan they have a history of being in Tokyo for over 20 years. Currently, they are seeking an HR Manager. 

They are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented HR Manager. The successful candidate would have the chance to grow and see firsthand the continuous improvements and positive changes within the firm, and actively contribute to those changes. A significant portion of the job will involve operating and managing the entire recruitment process from sourcing of candidates to the final offer stage. In addition, this person will also be involved in reviewing HR welfare benefits along with the HR administration manager, as well as organizing training for technical staff.  

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment
  • Direct sourcing of junior level staff to senior management level candidates through LinkedIn, networking, etc.
  • Indirect sourcing of junior level staff to senior management level candidates through external headhunters / agents
  • Manage one staff in charge of direct sourcing of candidates
  • Draft employment contracts, negotiating terms with agents and candidates
  • Prepare, update and manage the HR Recruitment Plan
  • Review current HR welfare benefits and policies
  • Draft new HR policies & guidelines
  • Organize and schedule technical and soft skills training, coordinating/working with relevant technical staff and/or 3rd party vendors as necessary
  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Business level English and Japanese is a must
  • Prior HR recruitment experience
