業務内容:
  • 欠勤や健康問題、産育休、フレックス、日々の業務や能力、苦情や懲戒処分、幅広い従業員との関係に関する諸問題について、管理職、HRBP、CoEなど人事方針および手続きに関わる人たちに対し、信頼感のある実用的なHRのアドバイスや支援を提供します。
  • 求人に関連する業務にあたり、強固なIDPと業績改善計画の策定について助言し支援します。能力/パフォーマンス管理に関する課題のマネジメントを主導していただきます。
  • 報酬や従業員給付を含む、給与に関連した問い合わせに対応し、従業員や管理職に助言やガイダンスを提供します。
  • 人事の観点からHRBPを支援します。管理職に対して指導し影響を与え、人事管理/リーダーシップスキルを発展させ、不適切な行動に対し建設的に取り組むことを支援します。
  • 調査などを実施することにより、方針と手順が目的やビジネスニーズに適しており、法律に準拠していることを確認します。

This American laboratory equipment maker is currently searching for an HR Operations Specialist to join their forward thinking international team in Tokyo.

Key Responsibilities & Key Activities

1. Provide credible and pragmatic HR advice and support to managers, HRBP’s, CoE’s in relation to HR policies and procedures, absence and health issues, maternity, flexible working, conduct and capability, grievance and disciplinary issues and a broad range of employee relations matters.

Work with managers and HRBP’s in a collaborative way ensuring that legislation, policy and best practice are applied fairly and consistently

Lead and/or support investigations into disciplinary issues and grievances, provide advice, take notes and provide coaching and support to managers involved in the process  

Lead and/or support on the management of issues relating to sickness absence, providing appropriate advice and guidance to line managers on review meetings, recommendations for action, liaising with Occupational Health and case review meetings.

2. Advises and helps develop robust IDP’s and Performance Improvement plans. Lead on the management of issues relating to capability/performance management.

Advise managers on recruitment and selection issues, including the development of job descriptions, person specifications, the job evaluation process and the selection processes.

Interpret relevant policies and practices, provide sound practical advice.

Utilize standardized documentation and align globally with similar roles within the wider organization.  

Be cognizant of employment laws and internal diversity programs.

Refer jobs for evaluation to appropriate Comp adviser if relevant.

3. Respond to queries and provide advice and guidance to employees and managers relating to reward, including remuneration and employee benefits.

Interpret policies and practices, providing sound practical advice.

4. Support HRBP’s in coaching and influencing managers from a people perspective, developing their people management / leadership skills and constructively challenging inappropriate behaviours / actions.

Provide insights, guidance and coaching. Support Managers on implementation of key learnings.

5. Ensure policies and procedures are fit for purpose, suited to business needs and compliant with legislation.

Undertake research on best practice guidance, employment laws, the development, implementation and monitoring of new and existing policies and procedures.

Requirements
  • At least 7 years’ experience in a generalist role 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Ability to effectively present information
