The Role

This international hospitality services company is searching for an HR Specialist to join the People & Performance team.

As an HR Specialist, you will work closely alongside the Head of HR, APAC and respective Team Managers to provide comprehensive support across all recruitment, and HR activities whilst developing excellent working relationships with key staff around the world you will support o\the management team in recruiting the best talent and ensuring a seamless employee journey for new starters.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide professional and consistent HR advice to Line Managers and Employees; resolving queries through expert knowledge and reference to Company policies in line with internally agreed levels of service
  • To keep up to date with changes in employment law and best practice and update policies in line with these changes
  • Project managing recruitment campaigns from start to finish, including support on job postings, CV screenings, telephone interviews and face-to-face interviews remotely;
  • Proactively introducing improvements to streamline and make the recruitment process more effective
  • Driving all aspects of the recruitment process for their agreed area of focus – office, team or department
  • Identifying difficult job vacancies and investigating the best recruitment approach for them
  • Preparing and sending all offer paperwork to prospective employees
  • Oversee the management of all HR administration (including employment screening) ensuring that all HR files are complete and up to date and meet requirements of clients;
  • To work with Payroll, Training and other key stakeholders to assure that all have the correct staff information to make the required business decisions
  • To coordinate the administration of HR related stats including retention, starters and leavers. Collate and analyse exit interview data
  • Produce monthly and quarterly reports as briefed to inform wider business issues and required improvements

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Japanese and English
  • Proven high level of accuracy in literacy and numeracy
  • The ability to work alone or as part of a team
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to organise and prioritise work
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Strong PC Skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
