Job Description

European leader is searching for an HRBP to be one of 3 in their Tokyo office. 

Business partnering:
  • Proactively establishes strong working relationship with country business leaders.
  • Be a strong strategic business partner understanding the business, providing outside-in perspective and advice on strategic HR matters.
  • Translate the Unit’s Business plans into HR strategic and operational plans for different units of the sub-division; advise Business Partner teams on implementation strategies, and initiate corrective actions as required.
  • Drive Talent Strategy for hiring right talent, creating a strong Employer brand, promote rewards and recognition programs and ensure right C&B Strategy, establish an enhanced employee value proposition.
  • Be responsible with Business Partners for ensuring that the implementation of a cohesive HR strategy that is in line with overall Business strategy.
  • Coach & influence business decisions for HR deliverables to meet operational and strategic objectives.
Organizational Development:
  • Ensure local implementation of organizational development activities, cultural agenda in line with strategy and drive Change Management locally.
  • Advise the business on local rules and regulations impacting business operations or business transformation.
  • Optimize local workforce and talent strategy. Work with managers to identify and develop talents with cross country/cross domain potential and aspirations.
  • Coach/drive senior leadership team on key HR processes, succession planning, and talent management for pre-defined population
Performance Management:
  • Support managers to drive performance management and facilitate a collaborative and high performance culture.
