The Role

This HRBP will champion efforts to improve overall organization, talent, process and culture by partnering with business managers and driving organization-wide initiatives. This role will focus on communicating with senior management to express new ideas and suggest solutions, considering budget limitations and company culture/goals. Ultimately, this HRBP will act as a consultant on human resources management and organizational changes.


  • Consult with line management and provide daily HR guidance
  • Analyze trends and metrics with other HR functions
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
  • Provide HR policy guidance
  • Monitor and report on workforce and talent planning
  • Identify training needs for teams and individuals
  • Evaluate and help deliver training programs
  • Suggest new HR strategies

  • Proven work experience as an HR business partner
  • People management skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Analytical and goal oriented
  • Experience with HR metrics
  • Strong knowledge of labor legislation
  • Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices
  • Fluent Japanese and business level English
