MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES
Handle customs clearance, duty payment and related communication with customs brokers.
Handle orders throughout process from ports of arrival to delivery points including direct delivery to customers.
Control export order process throughout setup schedule, vessel booking, customs clearance and providing related documents in communication with foreign clients, warehouse, customs brokers and forwarding agents.
Communicate with customs brokers, forwarding agents and warehouse (3PL) staff.
Communicate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, QC and other SCM team.
Provide import/export related information (duty, freight cost, regulation etc.) to other divisions (Marketing, Finance etc.).
Collect, maintain and report import/export related data (lead-time, duty & cost). ? Manage and train temporary staff.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS MUST
5+ years' experience with import/export esp. customs clearance process
Recent experience in import/export business (esp. consumer products).
English (mainly reading/writing) skills capable of communication with overseas agents (TOEIC 800+ preferred)
College degree ?Proficient using MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook
Experience and knowledge about FDA-applied products' customs clearance process and regulations
Consistent will and action to pursuit better cost, time and labor effective SCM operation
