Job Description

SUMMARY

To Identify training needs, develop training strategy and ensure execution of the training plan for both the sales and management training functions. Responsible for execution of core programs developed by HQ and modifying as necessary for Japan Market. Lead a team of trainers to deliver impactful programs within the region. Maintain close relationship with Retail Operations and HQ Global Education and Development.


KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications/Primary Job Requirements: 
• Requires more than 10 years’ experience in Training and Development field 
• Experience of developing and delivering technical training for a luxury company 
• Experience of developing and delivering people development training 
• Excellent communication, presentation, public speaking and persuasive skills 
• Critical thinker and creative varied approaches 
• Initiator – Effective leadership abilities to organize training team and sessions 
• English communication skills in writing and verbal (TOEIC 800 or above) 
• College graduate

Preferred Qualifications/Primary Job Requirements: 
• Working Experience in US based company, 
• Experience working in a jewelry company


RESPONSIBILITY

SET LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT PRIORITIES to align with company and regional goals 20%

PROGRAM DELIVERY: Establish Japan Training plan and deployment methods utilizing training team as well as ; engaging department heads and building their commitment on the training plan. Manage the delivery of core and specialized sales and management development programs to train management and sales professionals to act as key sales drivers. 20%

MANAGE BUDGET: Develop Japan Training budget based on expected deliverables monitor training expenses and adjust spending and resources allocation to fulfill training needs. 20%

LEAD TRAINING TEAM: Provide direction for regional training team. Also, maximize additional internal available resources (OJT)people, process and tools) to complete all training projects; whilst occasionally sourcing, identifying and collaborating with external vendors to develop and/or deliver training initiatives as appropriate. 20%

PROGRAM/PROJECT ADMINISTRATION Manage training logistics, translations, communications and documentations and provide both regular and ad hoc reporting to HQ Global Education & Development Team. 20%
