Role: Marketing and Communication Director
- New opening (currently is outsourced - Client wanted to have the role in house)
- Will be working mainly media, promoting brand image, organizing press &
- To develop strategy for the Japanese market.
- Manage team and budget.
Source for product packages, shopping bags and gift sets following corporate
guidelines; deliver to retail stores accordingly.
Manage joint promotions with third parties and seek for new opportunities relevant
to the Brand
Formulate press releases in both English and Japanese
Manage and maintain the press budget
Manage an assistant
Oversee newsletter / website translation (French, English and Japanese) and biannual notebook production process/quality of external vendors.
Come up with the content for digital marketing and social media (e.g. Facebook,Twitter)
Optimize of editorial / advertising relationship in global media and seeking out
appropriate opportunities to heighten the brand’s exposure.
Promote the Brand in Japan, heritage and codes and translate these into press
activities in all media.
Develop and implement press strategies in conjunction with the HQ to increase
brand awareness and brand identity with target media and ensuring consistency
with the global brand image across all channels
Work closely with the HQ to ensure that a cohesive local press strategy is skillfully
and commercially well executed
