A well known flavours and fragrances company is currently looking for a Logistics and Planning Manager to come in and manage the logistics and planning of the flavours division.
Optimize Production planning and RM stock planning department to meet Sales forecast and production schedule.
Optimize Logistics department to deliver goals just in time, safely and with the best price.
Ensure all activities carried out in the warehouse conform to the company's safety requirements.
Achieve company’s goals such as Lead time (LT), On-Time-Delivery (OTD), Inventory Days on Hand (DOH), Obsolescence / slow moving stock reduction, in raw materials planning, production planning and toll manufacturing planning.
Work closely with Sales, Production and Purchasing to determine & ensure adequate supply to support production’s & customer’s requirement at the same time to meet the targets of OTD, DOH, Complaint rate, LT and Shipping and Warehouse cost.
Keep appropriate stock and prevent shortage in Flavour products by obtaining necessary forecast from sales and in liaison with other departments for production planning.
Work closely with Finance / Controlling on inventory management.
Educate staff and utilize human resources to achieve all short and long-term objectives.
Education Required: University graduate or higher
Work Experience in years:
5 years’ relevant experience in supply chain
3+ years in successful leadership & management role with appropriate
interpersonal skill to inspire individuals (direct reports peers, superiors) toward goal achievement
Shipping & freight forwarding knowledge
MS Office Skill
Basic knowledge on manufacturing related program as SAP
Good communication in both Japanese and English (Fluent level)
