Job Description

About the Role:
Work with Data Scientists as part of an agile process to solve complex data projects using innovative solutions. High fluency in Japanese and Business English required. Additional details available during first meeting. 

Primary Skills:
  • Knowledge, interest and passion for big data analytics
  • Configuring and integrating new cutting edge data warehouse and big data technologies
  • Supporting clients with the data provisioning and acquisition process
  • Focus on collecting, quality assessing and managing data, including sensor, emails, documents etc
  • Support the analytics process, helping to design, construct and build analytical datasets, which includes exploring and visualizing large sets of data
  • Working closely with Data Scientists, you will be responsible for expanding the data processing capabilities; establishing efficient ways of implementing advanced analytics; and ensuring to build reusable data assets

Technical Skills:
  • Extensive knowledge in different programming or scripting languages like Java, C++, PHP, Ruby, and/or Python
  • Strong understanding of Unix systems, especially Linux
  • Strong expertise building databases and writing SQL
  • 5+ years of knowledge & understanding of algorithms and experience building high-performance algorithms

  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
