Job Description

 

Mission

Lead all activities enabling accurate supply plans, matching clients demand needs and expectations with availability, cost and cash efficiency.

 

Responsibilities & key activities

Activity Management

  • Take appropriate actions over the impacts of unexpected events on inventory supply
  • Define and communicate the target stock level and model stock for each Store / Market (regional / local warehouse)  according to life cycle (new products, recurrent items, phasing out…) and expected service level
  • Control the availability of products, identify and report the shortages/ stocks excess risks
  • Identify opportunities of product rebalancing in distribution network
  • Organize and deploy inventory rebalancing between Stores / Markets
  • Communicate the availability of products to Stores / Markets
  • Develop appropriate and positive relationship with other departments to guarantee efficiency
  • Elaborate efficient plans to meet customers demand and targeted results
  • Provide input to the other department, Market in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
  • Plan and organize End of life product strategies in cooperation with the Retail / MD departments to optimize the inventory depletion
  • Publish appropriate stock indicators
  • Attend the global seminar to communicate the counter parts from each region.

People Management

  • Share and communicate supply planning vision and strategy to his/her teams
  • Set challenging and achievable objectives and roadmap to his/her teams
  • Organize and manage resources (identify potential, mobility to come and jobs rotation opportunities)
  • Recruit, animate, motivate, train and develop teams and potential to guarantee efficiency
