Job Summary:

Internationally operating Medical Technologies company based in Tokyo is looking for their next Supply Chain Manager to oversee the Supply Chain that supports their international client's Pharmaceutical and Medical Device product introduction into the Japanese Market.

The Supply Chain Manager’s main role is to secure safe, reliable, and efficient operation throughout the Supply Chain. Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Manager include but not limited to:

  • Logistics: Import, Warehouse Management at 3PL site, and local delivery
  • Customer Services: Customer Order handling and other customer support activities
  • Establish and maintain Client relationships by serving as a single point of contact
  • Operation system operation and master maintenance
  • Oversee operations at outsourced 3PL site(s) and other service providers


Essential functions:




  • end-to-end Operations
  • Correspondences with Clients, Suppliers, Authorities, and internal Customers
  • Preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual report
  • Assess and prepare for new articles with different handling method
  • Master Data maintenance for the Operation System
  • Communication with authorities to solve Logistics, legal, and other issues


Education and Experience  Requirements


  • High school or above
  • Communication skill in multi-cultural environment
  • Capability to understand new/unknown matters and able to respond
  • TOEIC over 800 or capable handling conference call in both English and Japanese
