Key Purpose of the Job:
- To support Senior Regional Merchandising Manager (SRMM), in the execution of Japan Product Strategy following company's objective, become the voice of the region and select key product initiatives against these strategies to achieve budgeted revenue and gross margin in the region.
-Attend line close meeting in United States twice a year. Work and plan merchandise assortment from mainline during Line Close with Regional SRMM for WS and Retail based on customers requirements and OTB as advise by Country General Manager.
-Work with Planning and allocation to develop assortment plan that support overall strategy of it stock positioning for keyed categories.
-Responsible for product presentation during tradeshow and key account meeting.
-Facilitate and promote communications and co-operation between, Retail operation, merchandising and marketing/Visual Merchandising functions and accomplish sales, margin objectives.
-Bachelor Degree or above in related disciplines
-Must be passionate towards retail merchandising, enjoy the process to influence the creation of the product for the company without thinking he is a designer, spend time in market to bring maximum of relevant information to build a strong product line to succeed.
-Must have a 'go getter' and 'can do' attitude and be able to multi-task, mature and strong enough to follow a strategy and be able to think out of the box.
