Senior Demand Planner is responsible for driving demand planning process by thorough analysis and understanding of Revenue Plan, Projected Supply, Current & Historical Sell Thru Data, and Merchandising Plan, so as to contribute to appropriate buy and optimization of the inventory. He/She is also expected to deliver sales reports to the stakes holders for improving the forecast accuracy and making proactive callouts and propose actions for demand/supply un match.

Job Description:
[Demand Planning Related]

  • Own and drive demand planning process
  • Create demand plan based on the current sell thru and input from Merch & Sales Channels, and execute validation against Revenue & Sales Plan
  • Define supply short/excess and propose actions, such as inter Channel transfer, inter Country transfer, cancellation, promotion, disposal, procurement etc., to the stakes holders
  • Play key role in Wholesale Monthly Sales Tracking Meeting (WMSTM); present the current demand plan/sales plan/revenue plan status (discrepancy), and bring out key issues and propose gap fill and/or recovery plans
  • Be the window person to Region Supply Team for the treatment of demand plan upload outcome; past due PRs, MOQ issue, cancellation, escalation, etc
  • Ensure that the buying is appropriately executed by creating & analyzing Demand Supply Matching report
  • Track fast & slow movers and make necessary call outs to Merchs at early stage by creating & analyzing Weekly Consumption Report
  • Track month on month demand changes and make improvements on delivery plans by creating & analyzing Demand Waterfall Chart

[Reporting Related]

  • Manage Footwear & Jibbitz Master on weekly & seasonal basis and ensure the accuracy of the information
  • Manage database in both Access & Excel format to deliver daily sales report for Wholesale and weekly sales report for 3 Channels, to support Sales Channels
  • Support DP&A Manager in managing Access database for Wholesale Sell Out reports to support future sales planning and better account management

Provide necessary sales data to ad hoc requests from Merch, Sales Channels, and Finance etc. to support business
