Job Description:
-Independent handling of various client accounts as project leader incl. management of other project members
-Client and project management ensuring profitability
-Ongoing support of other client accounts led by other project leader
-Specific client tasks include but are not limited to
Strategic planning of communication strategies
Research and audits
Media and other stakeholder relations
Planning, organization and management of various events incl. interviews, media roundtables, press conferences and others
Planning, organization and handling of third parties delivering outsourced specific services
Media and issue monitoring
Activity reports and other reporting
-Active participation in client acquisition
-Active participation in company marketing activities
-Other various responsibilities as a full member of a rather small office

Qualifications and experience:
-Bachelor degree from university in Japan or overseas
-Minimum of 8 years professional experience in strategic communications, either in house, PR agency or other media relations environment.
-Understanding of financial terms and some experience of dealing with financial topics
-Proven track record in PR and other communications fields
-Experience in working in an international environment

-Fluent spoken and written Japanese/English
-Proven writing and editing skills Japanese/English
-Excellent verbal communications and presentation skills
-Basic digital and social media skills
-Ability to build and actively engage with a large network of diverse stakeholders
-Ability to go beyond implementation of tasks and also consult clients on strategic decisions and implementation of those
-Established network with media in Japan
-Ability to prioritize, plan well in advance and multi-task
-Ability to build relationships with team members in Japan and their global offices
-Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver a quality product
-Flexible and adaptable
