Job Description

Sales Manager

Thinking beyond your desk includes:
Country / Account Management
· Maximize profitability and increase sales by supplying superior products and value packages, which meet or exceed customer expectations
· Assess effectiveness of distribution channel from time to time to meet business targets
· Review credit standing of Delivery Partner and new customers
· Assess new market/potential. Pursue key prospects, negotiate, support potential sales
· Make business review trips in assigned countries and submit summary reports

Sales / Marketing
· Lead order intake and backlog to enable management to have full visibility of the latest financial status
· Coordinate, participate and/or lead seminars and trade shows
· Feedback customer comments to respective departments and follow-up on NPS survey
· Involve in Pricing activities for CGT Asia pacific comprises of price communication to distributors, pricing process management and price analysis against competition
· Analyze measure and track competition & distribution performance
Other Functional Role
· Technical as well as Sales presentation and training
· Support Finance with periodical planning, forecasting and reporting requirements
Corporate Citizen
· Embrace corporate driven initiatives around COS and Core values
· Project good company image when interacting with Distributors, customers and colleagues
· Work cross-functionally with colleague/counterpart. Cover duties as necessary in absence of other BMs or Director
Qualifications required

  • Engineering diploma/degree or equivalent with > 3 years of Regional sales experience in industrial products or diesel engine industry
  • Able to work independently, prioritize and develop initiatives
  • Strong analytical, problem solving skills and work cross functionally
  • Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Application software skills, especially MS Words and MS Excel
  • Willing to travel within the region and work in different environment
