Job Purpose:
To assist the Director of Digital Marketing in achieving superior customer engagement across various social media channels and increasing online visibility of the Hotel by strategically managing and tracking all aspects of the social media marketing roadmap. Responsible for implementing a content editorial calendar to plan and execute specific and timely social media campaigns including producing reports to measure their success. This position requires a high level of creativity, articulation, proficiency in writing and editing, and strong customer engagement skills via social media.

Overall Key Accountabilities:
-Work closely with the Director of Digital Marketing in developing annual social media strategies to maximise revenue and increase brand awareness in each of the dedicated business streams (i.e. rooms, restaurants, banquets, bridal and spa)
-Oversee the Hotel's social media channels and administrate the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content that builds meaningful connections and encourages target audiences to take action
-Work closely with the Director of Digital Marketing to build and execute social media campaigns via competitive research, benchmarking, messaging, and audience targeting
-Implement a social media calendar to plan specific and timely postings and campaigns
-Optimise each of the hotel's social media platforms to increase online presence and visibility
-Utilise Facebook Insights and Instagram Analytics to monitor and analyse social media engagement, traffic, and trends
-Continuously improve social media engagement by capturing and analysing the appropriate social data/metrics and measuring impact of social activities
-Perform monthly review of social media channels and create reports on effectiveness of campaigns
-Ensure accuracy and consistency of all Corporate-driven social media initiatives as well as local Japan-related promotions
-Ensure all social media content adhere to corporate guidelines
-Stay abreast of new insights/trends in social media tools, best practices, applications, channels, design, etc.
-Moderate user-generated content posted on social media channels
-Manage and respond to content postings on social media
-Collaborate with other departments (F&B, Rooms Division, PR, etc) to manage reputation, update offers and promotions, identify key players, and coordinate actions
-Monitor and analyse competitors' online activities and local online trends
-Work closely with the Public Relations team to ensure that all Japanese and English content follows brand standard and is approved prior to publishing
-Attend weekly PR meetings
