Job Description


Business Partnership

  • Works directly with Division GM, divisional Sales & Marketing Managers, and function counterparts in driving key initiatives to achieve business and financial goals and objectives
  • Ensures awareness and compliance with applicable standard operating procedures to meet, comply and champion all quality and regulatory commitments of the company

Planning & Forecasting

  • Drive financial planning mechanism such as monthly sales/Operating Income forecast, annual plan, and quarterly financial forecast processes
  • Provide financial support on 3 years strategic plan


  • Management of daily sales reporting
  • Provide monthly, quarterly sales & financial reporting.
  • Provide financial analysis vs plan, vs forecast, vs past trend, provide commentary on sales, operating expenses and other key financial metrics
  • Investigates and reports on significant variances to ensure integrity of information and performance against plans and forecast Work closely with divisions to come up with mitigation plans or action plans to achieve target

Projects, Ad hoc initiatives

  • Drive continuous improvement of business and financial processes
  • Drive profitability and efficiency improvement projects
  • Provide financial support on key strategic initiatives to make qualitative and quantitative assessment to help critical business decisions


  • University Degree or MBA (in accountancy or equivalent preferred)
  • 5-10 year experience in similar roles FP&A, Finance Manager of a division, experience in managing entire PL
  • Fluent in English/Japanese
  • Highly efficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • CPA preferred but not required
  • Self starter
  • Analytical, detailed oriented, accurate with a sense of urgency to complete projects
  • Always looking to continuously improve business processes
  • Able to organize and prioritize tasks well and work to tight deadlines or under pressure without close supervision
  • Will drive/execute key initiatives and see them through to successful implementation
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills with employees of all levels
