Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for maintaining high service levels while achieving inventory targets across multiple products and distribution centers
  • Responsible for Material Requirements Planning and inventory replenishment/ordering of finished goods
  • Ownership of planning parameters including target stocks/safety stocks, lot sizes, and lead time
  • Management of products with short expiry date, obsolete products, return handling, booking procedure
  • Reserves handling / New Product Introduction and Phase Out of Products
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of various scorecards for Inventory and Supply Chain as well as the reporting
  • Communication with warehouse staff/Supply Chain Manager: Prepare ABC-Analysis, address future capacity for products, prepare product overview for return handling, define priorities for goods reception and handling of damaged products

Your Profile

  • Minimum 5 years experience in Supply Planning including working closely with sales and marketing teams, logistics, and manufacturing
  • Prefer experience working in a complex distribution center network, with several thousand SKUs and multiple DC locations
  • Prefer experience in the medical device industry
  • Good experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel (comfort working with vlookups, pivot tables, etc preferred)
  • Experience using ERP systems, SAP preferred
  • Experience in Material Requirement Planning / Distribution Requirement Planning
  • Professional fluency in English
  • Ability to work in a team-orientated environment, including leadership skills in driving resolution of complex challenges across multiple functions and countries
