The position reports directly to the Japan Country Manager and is one of the most critical position for the brand. Japan is the brand's largest market in Asia Pacific, and the wholesale business represents the largest share of the company business -- as such, it is a very high profile role within Asia Pacific. The department grew by double digits last year, and we are seeking the right leader to continue this growth well into the future.
The position will manage over 2000 doors, ranging from top tier Select Shops, the largest footwear, sports and street key accounts, and will help orchestrate the brand's entry into apparel distribution.
Given the unique product needs of Japan, The brand produces a large share of its footwear products exclusively for Japan, so the role will provide the right leader a strong arsenal of market-right footwear range.
The position will join the Japan Leadership Team. Working with other department heads as well as the Country General Manager, the Wholesale Director will take an active role in managing VF Japan's corporate goals and strategies.
- Sales experience for more than 15 years
