Procurement and Pricing Specialist

Job Description:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for all Tank Container Ocean Procurement activities of the Tank Container Competence Centre (TCCC) APAC in coordination with the Regional Procurement and local offices.

• Developing a Procurement strategy in coordination with the Regional Procurement and Regional Sales & Business Developing Manager

• Analysing volumes and trade developments regionally and globally.

• Preparation of global and regional tenders in coordination with the Regional and/or Global Sales and Business Development Manager

• Monitoring and executing tender requests of global and regional customers

• Communicate with customers and assist in solving problems and providing consulting assistance to create solutions.

• Drive the digital transformation to improve and streamline Procurement and Sales processes.

• Coordination with regional entities and TCCC Operations to understand customer needs and specific requirements.

• Supporting and developing the filing and archiving of rates, coordination with the in-house upload service team.

• Direct report to the Head of Tank Container Competence Centre APAC.

Qualification:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the international logistics industry, preferably in Procurement, Tender Management or Sales – background in the Tank Container industry is a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, logistics or related field is a plus

• Strong communication skills in English, ability to communicate proactively.

• High achieving, ambitious and result-oriented, negotiation skills.

• Ability to keep learning and improve your expertise on the market and the Tank Container product.

• Must exemplify professionalism and leadership qualities with strong organisational and time management skills.

• Open-mindedness for cross-cultural teamwork.

• Good process management skills (process automation, digitisation, MS Office).
